How to drill a large hole in a tough tile

Here is a demonstration of how to cut a large hole in a tile using a diamond coated hole saw. This technique will work on all tiles including hard porcelain tiles and all natural stone tiles. Brought to you by www.ultimatehandyman.co.uk

    Thanks for the demo. Here’s a tip for you: form some plumber’s putty into the shape of a pencil then lay the putty around the outside of the cut by 1″ to form a barrier. Pour some water into the center (the barrier keeps the water in and over the hole area) and this keeps the bit cool and wet throughout the process.
